Elevating WIRED: Unleashing the Power of Augmented Reality (AR) for BNP Paribas Real Estate's Innovative Digital Ecosystem

Step into the realm of WIRED, a collaboration between BNP Paribas Real Estate and Unity – a company born within BivwAk!, the transformative hub of BNP Paribas. Powered by Unity's 3D engine, a global leader in gaming and entertainment technology, WIRED is a remarkable internal tool. It merges real estate assets with public data, offering an immersive experience. With the power to visualize 10 million buildings within their real surroundings, WIRED forges a unique digital interaction.

My mission within this ecosystem was to harness the potential of Augmented Reality (AR) as a business model for WIRED's grand-scale release. The journey encompassed several phases, each contributing to the broader vision.

It all began with a market analysis and a comprehensive understanding of potential trajectories for the project. Designing the business model followed suit, setting the stage for what was to come. Then arrived the prototype creation – a proof of concept that merged the worlds of app development and AR experiences.

The result of this process was a visionary concept – an ecosystem where WIRED leveraged its digital twin of European cities to evolve into a focal point for public AR experiences. The envisioned app featured an interactive map, acting as a portal to diverse AR encounters. Users could explore, click on events, delve into details, and instantly access AR content via the app.

Taking it further, I brought the concept to life through a specially designed Augmented Reality filter using Meta Spark Studio. This filter, available on Instagram and Facebook, showcased the seamless accessibility of AR experiences through smartphones. The design choice? A fully immersive experience, engulfing users in a virtual environment that left no room for external distractions.

In a world where Augmented Reality has become a bridge between brands and their audiences, the envisioned WIRED AR ecosystem presented boundless opportunities. It demonstrated the power of seamlessly intertwining the digital and physical realms, fostering engagement, interaction, and innovation. From conceptualization to design, this venture showcased the immense potential of AR as a transformative tool.
